Soul Fire Rising: Astrology for These Times
The world isn’t ending. A world is ending.

OMG, these are wild times. How are you holding up? Are you remembering to breathe and befriend trees and take your herbs and tell dumb jokes and move your body? If not, here’s your reminder. Spring (in the northern hemisphere) IS on its way, and it wants you to revel in it, even as the world as we have known it breaks down.
Yes, as many have been saying for the past several years now, we are in a period of collapse, and the astrology of these times is mirroring that truth. To me, that’s how astrology works... not as a celestial conductor, but as a great big reflector offering us insight into how to meet each moment and era in the most empowering way possible.
And right now, the evershifting skies are showing us that even as a world is ending, a new one is being born, and we get to guide that world into being together.
And oh, my loves, if that sky mirror is at least a little bit accurate, this new world is something beautiful. But it’s gonna take some doing (and undoing) to get there, and Aries’ fiery energy is arriving just in time for the push.
On March 20th, the Spring Equinox is marked by the sun joining Neptune and Saturn as they begin their transits through Aries. A month later, Uranus moves into communicative Gemini for a seven-year journey of rapid growth and change. Meanwhile, Pluto is in the very early degrees of its twenty-year transit through Aquarius, a signature that has historically reflected people-powered revolutions.
What does this all mean? It means that we are being called to activate our soul fires in service of the greater good. It means that it’s time to honor our interdependence with all beings and create structures that reflect it. It means that we must release the familiar to make way for the new. And for you, personally, it’s all that and more, depending on your personal astrological chart.
